Turn a book into an ongoing AI-guided reader experience.

The gap is clear: serious authors need post-publication engagement that is controlled, coherent, and durable. That category has one player.

Choose your path

most authors enter through orientation
Path 01 · Orientation

New here?

What category this is, and why it differs from author sites, newsletters, custom GPTs, and chat wrappers.

Path 02 · Workflow

How it works.

The four-step path from source manuscript to a reader-facing companion, with author boundaries at every stage.

Path 03 · Begin

Where do I begin?

Practical onboarding steps, scope and timeline expectations, and what an intake conversation involves.

§ 03

Author-fit constellations

book-type fit, not endorsements
Category
History / Civilisation

Genre focus: long-form history and civilization narratives.

Category
Culture / Ideas

Genre focus: cultural interpretation and public-idea frameworks.

Category
Self-Development / Behavioral

Genre focus: practical behavior frameworks readers apply directly.

Category
Science / Synthesis

Genre focus: synthesis authors whose books build on each other.

Category
Narrative Worldbuilding

Genre focus: multi-book fictional universes with cross-title continuity.

Companions can connect character arcs, lore, and events across titles without flattening narrative depth.

Inclusion in a constellation is an observation about book-type fit — not a claim of relationship, partnership, or endorsement. Click any "Authors" tab to expand its roster.

§ 04

Not a feed. Not a chatbot. Not a wrapper.

A normal author site presents information. A Substack stream presents updates. Living Literature builds a structured post-publication environment around your actual text so readers can move through key ideas, terms, chapters, and questions with rigour.

It is also not a generic chatbot wrapper. Companion behaviour is shaped by your canon, framing, boundaries, and intended reader pathway — so interpretation remains anchored to your work rather than drifting into generic output.

The positioning statement. Living Literature for Authors sits between publishing infrastructure and consumer AI tools: it is an author-controlled interpretive layer for serious readers.

The unit is not a feed post or a one-off chat. The unit is a living reading environment that can begin with one book and extend into continuity across a body of work.
